DATA SHEET |
Leaded 63/37 flux-cored solder wire with a .010" diameter designed for precision soldering and PCB repair. Offers excellent wetting and control when applying small amounts of solder during delicate circuit board rework operations. All flux-cored solders have a shelf life. The limited 10' (3.05 mm) length in each package reduces the likelihood that the solder will be wasted as the solder's shelf life expires.
The flux chemistry is based on the same principles that have been used for years in mildly activated rosin solders. The solder design reduces spattering, a common issue with most cored fluxes, and yields visually acceptable solder joints without cleaning, while maintaining comparable soldering quality and efficiency to that obtained with mildly activated rosin flux. The flux is classified as ROL0 per J-STD-004.

Cleaning
The flux residues are non-corrosive, non-conductive, and do not require removal in most applications. IPA will not clean the residues off the surface of the circuit board after the soldering process. A saponifier or cleaning agent specifically designed to clean no-clean flux residues is recommended.
