The kit includes a regulated DC power supply, plating probes with pre-wrapped screw-on anodes, and all of the tools and materials required to perform controlled electroplating repairs. Included plating solutions allow technicians to properly prepare the surface, apply a nickel underlayer when required, and plate a durable gold finish that restores reliable electrical performance.
A variety of cleaning tools, abrasives and application accessories are also provided to prepare the repair site and support consistent plating results. The system is designed to meet IPC-recommended repair practices and is packaged as a complete kit so technicians can perform professional gold contact restoration in manufacturing, laboratory and field repair environments.
